Privacy Policy
Your privacy is important to us. This policy covers the personal information QuickLog collects through this marketing website (quicklog.ca): what we collect, how we use it, and your rights under Quebec's Law 25 (Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector). The QuickLog application (quicklog.app) and the documents your clients upload in it are covered by the application's own privacy policy, at quicklog.app/privacy.
Information We Collect
On this website, we collect: (1) Your name, email address, optional phone number and message when you submit the contact or demo form. (2) Your cookie choice (accepted or declined), the policy version, your language and the date. (3) Only if you accept analytics cookies: browsing statistics collected by Google Analytics (pages visited, device type, approximate location derived from your IP address). We collect nothing else.
How We Use Your Information
We use this information to answer your demo requests and questions and, only if you accept analytics cookies, to measure and improve the website. We send no marketing emails and run no advertising.
Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services: Firebase by Google Cloud (database, website hosting, and the functions that process form submissions — Google infrastructure, including in the United States); Resend (United States), which delivers a notification of each contact form submission to our support inbox; and Google Analytics, through Google Tag Manager, only if you accept analytics cookies. We do not sell or share your personal information for marketing purposes.
Cookies
Our site uses essential cookies and local storage to work and to remember your cookie choice. With your consent, it also uses Google Analytics cookies to measure traffic. Analytics stays off until you click “Accept All”, and no advertising cookies are used. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time with the “Cookie preferences” link at the bottom of every page.
Data Retention
Contact and demo requests: deleted 3 years after they are received. Cookie choices: deleted after 12 months. Google Analytics data: kept for at most 14 months. A daily automated job deletes expired records. We collect only what is strictly necessary.
Loi 25 (Bill 25) Compliance
In line with Quebec's Law 25, we: ask for your consent before any analytics cookie and let you withdraw it at any time, keep an incident response plan and an incident register, promptly notify the Commission d'accès à l'information and the people concerned of any incident presenting a risk of serious injury, and have designated a person responsible for the protection of personal information.
Your Rights
You have the right to: access the personal information we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate information, request deletion of your information (unless the law requires us to keep it), withdraw your consent to analytics cookies at any time, and file a complaint with the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec.
Data Storage & Security
Website data is stored on Google Cloud (Firebase) infrastructure. All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest, and form submissions cannot be read from the website. The documents your clients upload in the QuickLog application are stored in Canada (Montréal) — see quicklog.app/privacy.
